Bonny

Bonny is a native Pittsburgher and has lived in the area for most of her life. She spent over 11 years working for the public library system beginning as an outreach specialist fostering a love of literacy with elementary school students, then becoming a youth services librarian at a neighborhood library branch. The experience led her into workforce development, where she drives efforts for equity-focused systems change.

Friends like to say that Bonny has always been a dog person without knowing it. Growing up around cats, she never understood the dog-hype. That is until she met Joel and his love of dogs became contagious. Bonny’s status as “adoring dog mom” became cemented when a tiny fluff-ball of a puppy stole her heart during a fateful visit to a farmer’s market. Piper became her first official doggo, followed a year later by Yocco the long dog.

Always Faithful Dog Training brings together many of Bonny’s personal and professional passions. “Our dogs are a part of our family. Training allows us to make the most of our time together. I love teaching and supporting people in reaching their goals, especially when it means building the bond between a dog owner and their best friend.”
