Dogs have always been an important part of my life. As a child, my mother had two Boxers, one was AKC registered that she showed, and had pups with to keep the AKC line. I was able to witness the births of those puppies and attended numerous competitive dog shows with her.
During my teenaged years my father had dogs that were occasionally used for hunting. Sam, our English Springer Spaniel was a great dog and it was with him that I began to learn the proper care and nurturing of dogs.
Hershey, my Chocolate Labrador mix, was a 2009 shelter rescue. He was approximately two years old when I adopted him and amazingly, he lived to be seventeen. Hershey traveled with me to multiple states, camping, exploring and visiting friends and family. Over the years we hiked and attended annual end-of-summer Doggy Day events at local pools and water parks. Hershey was well-known throughout the neighborhood--especially with children--due to our numerous walks. We also have a Maltese rescue, Zachary, and our newest addition, Sunshine, an AKC English Yellow Lab.
After many years in the Information Technology field, the choice to become a franchise owner has allowed me to work on a daily basis utilizing my passion for dogs.
